WEEK 10: Difficult Times

Pictures:  He and his companion, Elder Johnson, spent extra money on American food this week.  A Book of Mormon in Tui language. A 12 year old boy.  Tanner is on his 3rd watch....dropped one and broke one play fighting with a boy.  The fruit is less than $1.00 in American money.  Some different food he made this week.  He eats about 8 eggs a day.  The activity they did that didn't receive much member support.

This week was very discouraging. Almost all of our 8 people who showed for church last week, now have no interest.  Our best investigator can't be baptized Saturday because she didn't show for church, and our members are doing nothing to help the missionaries or the ward as usual. A member of our stake presidency had to come down and chastise the members and said they were once a great ward that can no longer be called great.  We did an activity to help enlarge our teaching pool and asked for member to help. Only two came out of over 200.  So all in all this week was very difficult and exhausting.  But every now and then I see a spark of potential in this difficult area so I'm keeping my head up and I will continue to trust in Heavenly Father. I know things will work out eventually. Thats all for this week!  Keep working hard and praying for me, I know they help!
