WEEK 61 Slacking!

Hello Everyone!

Sorry I have been slacking on the emails. I'm not going to lie, emailing isn't my favorite thing.

Sooo lets see, this week was actually a really good one! I was hardly in my area though because it seemed like everyday I had to go and travel for something. 1 day it was interviews with mission president, another was zone conference, We had to travel forever to go interview some candidates for baptism sooo yeah. But the good news was we still were able to see most of our progressing people.

Saturday we did a service project for a few hours and then a BAPTISM! WOOT WOOT. My first for this area. She was so ready to, and it was a joy to see her take that step forward. Her name is Grace and honestly she probably should have been baptized long ago but I guess past missionaries just never followed up with her or something. But that was just so fun.

Sunday we had many people come to church and we were so happy to see them all. After church we taught one of our progressing people, Prince. For him he always comes to church but during the week he doesn't have much time so we decided to sit him down as soon as the service ended. We had a wonderful lesson and the spirit was so strong. He is looking forward to baptism and he is doing so well. After church we went to go teach this girl Lillian. She is a 14 year old girl. I'm not going to lie sometimes she confuses me. We contacted her a while ago and ever since then she always comes to church, but the weird thing is she doesn't want us to teach her. Like we only taught her once and since then she always makes up excuses and even sometimes hides. However this time was different. After church she asked us to come and we had one of the best lesson, she told us she knows the church is true and shared with us her testimony and is looking forward to baptism. So as of now in my area we are preparing 5 people for august 10, so I'm super pumped. I will keep you all updated!
