Hey Everyone,
 
I know, I know, it's been a long time. But the way we humans tend to measure the value of things is by how rare the item or thing might be. So really all I'm trying to do is increase the value of these emails. So if your wallet is lookin thin this morning, be careful, this is a million dollar email!

HAHA, So yeah it's been decided, I'm flying into Utah. Like the mission has already purchased the ticket and everything. So If anyone is reading this email and will be in Utah from May 20th to May 27th then hit me up. Like seriously, I'm pretty sure upon arrival I will have no friends in America apart from my family. So if you want to go bowling, or watch Black Widow, or jump inside of a moving elevator then let me know. Hahaha

 So yeah quick update on the life of Elder Pace. 

1. I started to keep a journal for the year of 2020. So yeah maybe I'm a little late, maybe a few things of my mission will be lost, But just like the Book of Mormon, those things which are most plain and precious will have been preserved, so were good. right?

2. My current companion is Elder Jones. He's so cool. But he is my 6th companion in 6 transfers. After like the first two or so transfers I thought things were cool, but when you get to the 6th transfer and each transfer you get a new companion you start to think that maybe something is up. I know I might have a few traits that could be annoying to live with but come on, I didn't think it was that bad. Haha Jk. I'm pretty sure that's just how things have happened to line up but it's pretty funny to tell people this little fun fact. Honestly a small part of me is hoping that this trend continues for the next two transfers so that I can say for the last year of my mission I never had a companion longer than 1 transfer, which is 6 weeks! haha. I imagine people will just look at me and think, oh my, whats wrong with you!! It would be great.

3. I learned that on one hand my fingers are just slightly bigger than the other one. Now that I say that I wonder if my toes are the same. I will have to check.

4. I am really good at tongue twisters. Like actually its kinda scary. I dare one of you to try me one day. 

5. Everyone one in my area know me as Aponkye tantan, which translates into "ugly goat". I figure by giving myself a crazy name everyone will remember me, so that's what I do!

6. The other day I remembered that the only thing I can say in Frafra is "my bike has spoiled" because it happened so often up in Bolga where they speak Frara. The other day I met a member and she asked why we didn't have our bikes and I said that phrase in frafra not knowing that she was from Bolga. She was surprised and then we started talking about Bolga so thats cool.

7. I learned how to do a cartwheel. I'm not trying to say I'm talented or anything but yeah, I can do a cartwheel, thats whats up.

8. I learned something super crazy in the Book of Mormon that kinda blew my mind. Like I kinda already knew this thing but I didn't know it was written down! I won't say specifically what it is but you can read 3 Nephi 16. Thats where i found it.

9. My companion is reading my emails as we speak. even though I told him not to he is still doing it. I have nothing to hide but it gives me small anxiety. Haha my companion is laughing because he didn't actually think I knew he was reading my emails. Got yah.

10. We named two birds that sit on a ledge in front of the windows by our study desk. Their names are Suzie and Gerald.

Well thats all I really got at the moment. sooo yeah. Love you guys!

Tanners farewell was lovely.  He really did do a nice job on his talk.  It was fun to catch a glimpse of his personality sprinkled throughout yet he was respectful as well.  He has truly grown so much this past year and I'm sure he will grow even more these next two.   I'm very grateful my family were able to come.  I think he would have felt bad if nobody was able to be here.  We stay for all three meetings so we really didn't have much of a celebration after....just the family had lunch together and then we said good-bye.  I still tried to decorate a bit so he would feel special. WEEK 7/104: Faith

(I told Tanner from his pictures it looks like he was sent to a country inhabited solely by children!) Hey everyone!! So this week was very successful, well until the end but hey I will take it. We found 4 new investigators and received 1 referral. Three of the 4 investigators we found all in one place together and we have taught them twice throughout the week. And wow, they are powerful... they have really been prepared to learn about and receive the gospel.They ask so many questions and are just so ready to learn the truth. They go to a church but realize the things going on in that church are not right, so when we extended the invitation to come to our church they were not ready. They told us they have already made a poor choice once so they want to be sure before they decided again. MERRY CHRISTMAS (12-23-19)

Hello Friends,  Afishapa!! That translates into Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! I have been listening to Christmas music a lot and I especially love the song that reads, "its the most wonderful time, of the year."... This is definitely a true and accurate statement, and as I reflected on why this is my thought lead me back to my Savior.  Christmas is about Christ, and it pains me when I see His name replaced with an X. If you have fallen given into this disrespectful temptation by placing this on social media posts, or text messages, or even posters, then I would invite you to quickly repent and put Christ back into your Christmas and lives.  That is not the only way we take Christ out of Christmas however.
