WEEK 32: Best Christmas Ever!

Hello friends!

I hope all of you had a wonderful Christmas. I know I did!  Seriously, I think this could have been my favorite Christmas so far! It was a little stressful (mom note:  due to a misunderstanding it was announced he was making dinner for the whole ward which he hadn't planned on) but at the end of the day when I went down for bed all I could do was smile. Sooo it was awesome to put it in short.

This past week my area was blessed with three baptisms and in the district we had 5! Our district has been dry on baptisms for a while so we are so grateful to finally bring some souls unto Christ. My companion and I are expecting to baptize at least one more this week. What's even better is she is a contact, and usually they are the most stubborn. But this person is seriously powerful.

One of our baptisms this past week was Brother Issac. He is a police officer. His wife is a strong member and has been waiting for him to baptize for sooo long! I think in the past he has been too stubborn but finally his heart has been softened and now he seems so happy! He and his wife are going to start working toward getting sealed in the temple and receive all the blessings that includes. He has one son who is 13 I think and he is coming back from school soon so once he gets back we will work on teaching and baptizing him. It is just so wonderful to see families come together and embrace the gospel and become an eternal family! I'm sooo happy!

But yeah this is basically all for me, I'm loving Ghana.  Seriously the people are so great and soo funny. I'm always laughing hahaha. Okay i better sign off now

Love you all
Elder Pace
