WEEK 47: Miracles

Image
These pictures were from his birthday time but I don't think I got them added on here:  He made his own cake--strawberry covered with Nutella and mango and bananas with batman as his decoration.  He is modeling the soccer jerseys his other American flat mate has purchased.  They got to watch some of Saturday conference at the church with pizza! Hello friends, This week was actually a pretty good one! Lots of amazing experiences. So this week started off normal but on Wednesday I started to feel a little sick. I thought it was just something I ate so we went back to the apartment for a while I took some drugs used the washroom and then continued our day. Then next day I woke up feeling more tired than normal and a little nausea, but I'm in Africa sooo usually that just means I'm in Africa haha. So we went on with our day. With Elder Lephoyo and their two baptisms Hello friends!!  Well this week was DOPE! Elder Lephoyo and I were very blessed this week. We were able to meet many new people as well as receive many referrals. We even had 2 baptisms and confirmations to conclude this week! PUMPED. Our sacrament attendance for our investigators keeps growing. This week we had 28 investigators come, and that's only counting those who are 8 years of age or older. Counting everyone we brought we had 67% of our sacrament attendance hahah! These kids we have been teaching are just awesome! They come every week and some of them we will baptize very soon and they are so excited. We were able to go and talk to the parents and for the most part all is good.  Haha Something funny that happened this week was our entire mission got scammed with a fake but official looking letter from the "First Presidency" saying the mission length for males has been reduced to 18 mont...

Previous mission companion and flat mates Previous companion with the kids investigating.  So impressive they get themselves ready and to church on their own! The missionary reading a book with the children is his new companion, Elder Lephoyo. Hey everyone! Well this week was awesome actually! So to start this week off I received a new companion, his name is Elder Lephoyo. He is the coolest, but the best part is he is exactly obedient. Such a good example to me and it's motivating me to be better. This Sunday the kids came to church again. They are multiplying! I also had the opportunity to hear my branch president and his wife's conversion story! Its crazy!  Its long so I won't type it out but I will tell my parents so if you're curious I'm sure they would love to pass it along. My area is really moving along and I can see success everyday. Everyday I come home exhausted but I feel uplifted and spiritually strengthe...
